Directions to The Press Box from Marquette: Take U.S. 41 all the way to Baraga. Once you are in Baraga, look for a flashing light and turn left. This will be M-38 (also called Michigan Avenue). The casino will be on the right. You can't miss it, on the corner of Michigan Avenue and Bear Town Road. http://www.ojibwacasino.com/index.php

Talent Quest 2010 National
Karaoke Singing Contest
Upper Peninsula, Michigan

Be on the lookout for the Talent Quest 2010 National Karaoke Singing Contest. The competition will begin on the local level in more than one bar and/or casino in the Upper Peninsula. Several winners will be selected in each location on a weekly basis. These local weekly winners will return for a Finals Competition at the local level at each of the predetermined bar and/or casino. The winners of the local finals will move on to the regional competition, which will be held in Ohio or possibly right up here in the Upper Peninsula! The winners of the regional competition will move on to the national competition, which will be at a large casino in Nevada (to be determined soon). The Talent Quest competition was held in the Upper Peninsula in 2008 and two of our singers won at the regional level and went on to the National level where they fared VERY well!! Be on the lookout for more information coming soon!
Possible locations (to be determined): Champion, Ishpeming, Gwinn, Marquette, Baraga, Escanaba
